Australia’s Stand-alone Premier Colt Starting Championship.

​

Presented by The Australian Cowgirl Co., known nationally for the Horsewoman’s Touch Colt Start as seen at Australia’s Greatest Horsewoman, now expanding to an event welcoming all trainers.

Set to take place over four days, from the 18th to the 21st September 2025.

​

This event will feature seven trainers representing various disciplines.

​

Our belief is that merging education and entertainment can shift people's viewpoint and foster a more positive environment for horses.

Our goal is to inspire individuals to grow their horsemanship abilities and develop a relationship with horses based on trust rather than fear.

Legacy of the Horse aims to honour the top trainer who attains the highest score in the competition. The tasks, focuses on the competitor's horsemanship techniques and their capacity to communicate, educate, and build a trusting relationship with their young horse.
